how to cope with winter

... I haven't a clue, really. (If you have some tips, I'm all ears.)

This sure does help, though: basil cotyledons.

When I left the back door unlocked and it blew open and froze the kitchen, our prolific basil plant died. This is my attempt at getting all that goodness back. They're deliciously cute at this stage.

well, this year i got a new haircut, new glasses and in about 6 hours i'm leaving the continent. that was my plan :-)

but seriously, getting away in february or march is very important. increases sanity potential immensely!

If you find a way, let me know, because all I do to cope is drink and smoke cigarettes while cruising the Travelocity deals.
